Music Generation with Relation Joinstyle. Instead of first learning the patterns, and then making replications as early music generation work did, we introduce a completely new data driven methodology to generate music. Then we discuss exploring the difference between the original music and synthetic music sequences using information theory based techniques.

Sound Interaction Design and Creation in the Context of Urban Spaceraction will be discussed. We will extract some design insights that have been inspiring in the creation process of the Smartphone Ensemble, The AirQ Jacket and Lumina Nocte. These projects have been got under way along with MA students from the Design and Creation program at the Caldas University in Manizales, Colombia.

VORPAL: An Extensible and Flexible Middleware for Real-Time Soundtracks in Digital Gamese audio and musical composition in the form of a generic middleware based on the Pure Data programming language.
