Comparative Study of Dermoscopic Hair Removal Methods reference hairless images. To quantitatively assess their efficacy, we use a series of performance measures that evaluate the similarity between the original hairless image and the one obtained by each of the algorithms. Also, a statistical test is used to check the superiority of a method with respect to the others.

Biometric Identification Based on Forearm Vein Patterneach pair of visible and NIR images. For the visible images, feature extraction was done using the Gabor filter. For the NIR forearm images, a crossing number was used to extract properties of the veins e.g. bifurcation.

Bone Spect Image Segmentation Based on the Hermite Transformg criterion that allows the segmentation of the needed region. The designed approach is focused on segmenting the bone structures in SPECT images. We evaluated the proposed scheme using several bone SPECT images. Different metrics have been also used for performance assessment.

A Semi-automatic Software for Processing Real-Time Phase-Contrast MRI Dataantify blood flows in the selected vessels and to detect flow changes during inspiration and expiration periods of the cardiac cycle. The assessment of hemodynamic information with real-time flow imaging may have potential applications for the diagnosis of cardiovascular and neurovascular diseases.
