Yunchen Bik cancer can be induced by saccharin in rats, but only under unusual conditions whose relevance to human risk is obscure. From epidemiology we learned that the number of human bladder cancer cases that might currently be caused by past patterns of saccharin use is certainly small, and perhaps zero.
