Growing Molecules with Ion/Molecule Reactions, the context of the ionic growth of carbon skeletons. Particular attention is given to the synthesis of polyacetylenes, cyanoacetylene, methylcyanoacetylene, cyanopolyacetylenes, cyclopropenylidene, silacyclopropyne, cumulated carbene chains, disubstituted carbenes and ring carbenes, benzene, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and amino acids.
