Use of CNS Implants to Promote Regeneration of Central Axons across Denervating Lesions in the Adulms and growth pathways in the adult mammalian CNS. Based on this notion, these authors were the first to attempt to promote regeneration of lesioned central axons by using implants of peripheral nerve.
