The Special-Needs StudentSpecial-needs teachers always have to be creative and often must invent props to get their points across. 3D printing can have a particular role to play for learners who benefit from tactile interactions.

Why Use a 3D Printer? took more expertise than some advertisements implied. Now machines are getting both easier to use and more powerful, and there is a creative explosion in both printer technology and applications. But we are still not quite at the point of clicking Print without any thought on the user’s part.
