Educology Is Interdisciplinary: What Is It? Why Do We Need It? Why Should We Care?,. Not all effective education is worthwhile. Education can be instrumentally valuable but lack intrinsic value. We should avoid effective yet bad education. Instead, we should seek worthwhile education—that is both instrumentally and intrinsically good. Worthwhile education should be designed to improve the quality of life for everyone everywhere.
