The Role of Commemoration in History and Heritage: The Legacy of the World War One Engagement Centreithin the histories of the First World War as well as the legacies of colonialism. Through interrogating the data, the authors will consider how these projects addressed the legacy of colonialism and empire in conflict and how commemoration and memory has been challenged in the name of historical justice.
