Topological Invariants and Tight-Binding Models from the Layer Constructions,?[.] in the present chapter. This construction is solely based on real-space geometries of layers. In Ref.?[.], a LC is introduced for time-reversal-invariant systems, and in this previous work, each layer is decorated with a two-dimensional (2D) topological insulator (TI) and a 2D mirror-symmetric topological crystalline insulator (TCI).
