Heat Flow Map of the European Part of the U.S.S.R.5–40 mW/m.). Increased heat flow (>50 mW/m.) has been found in the Dniepr-Donetz depression. The area south of the East European Platform is characterized by highly variable heat flow (55–100 mW/m.). Some geophysical implications are discussed.
