,A stabilization problem for Burgers’ equation with unbounded control and observation, these laws to the full nonlinear model. We investigate problems with unbounded inputs and observations. A finite element scheme is used to compute feedback gains and several numerical experiments are performed to illustrate the theoretical results.

Numerical solutions of the optimal control problem governed by a phase field model, method to approximate the state equations and a gradient algorithm to solve the discrete optimal control problem. The convergence of the discrete optimal solutions to the continuous optimal solutions and the convergence of the gradient algorithm are proved. A numerical example is given.

On an inverse problem for determining the creep function with a given boundary data close to a sing. Boundary data (perturbation in two points of the string) are given close to a singular function. A certain method of solution is proposed and the estimation of the error is obtained. Errors of the method and boundary data have a common order in the maximum-norms, which implies that the problem is well-posed.

A computational method for thermal tomography by time dependent boundary integral equation method,aterials, we formulate a parameter estimation problem using temperature data from the front surface of materials. We propose a new estimation algorithm based on the time-dependent boundary integral equation method. Summaries of computational experiments by the proposed method are given.
