Strong convergence on the exact boundary controllability of the wave equation in perforated domainsThe exact boundary controllability of the wave equation in perforated domains is studied. The measure of the holes is assumed to tend to zero fast enough. By using HUM, multiplier techniques and the theory of homogenization developed by Cioranescu and Murat, the strong convergence of the controlled states is proved.

The state estimation problem for parabolic systems,This paper introduces a series of problems on state estimation for parabolic systems on the basis of measurements generated by sensors in the presence of unknown but bounded disturbances. Observability issues, guaranteed filtering schemes for distributed processes are discussed.

The convergence of the discrete optimal solutions to the continuous optimal solutions and the convergence of the gradient algorithm are proved. A numerical example is given.
