Intrathoracic Intracorporeal Thoracoscopic Elongation – Internal Tractionn of the ends and thus facilitates the esophageal anastomosis. It is possible to accomplish the procedure within a few days avoiding a gastrostomy in majority of cases. In the author’s personal opinion, this thoracoscopic technique will completely change the way we manage long-gap esophageal atresia.
