Results from Algebraic Number Theorynical. They are all classical, known to Dedekind, except possibly for the fact that a proper .-lattice is locally principal, which seems to have been first pointed out by Ihara [26]. The localization technique will be used heavily for the idelic formulation of the complex multiplication, as in Shimura [B12].
