Observations of Dislocations in Al2O3 after Prism Plane Slip at Low Temperature under Hydrostween 6000 MPa and 1000 MPa..T.E.M. observations have been performed on foils cut out of specimens deformed at 400°C (0.29 T.). They contain a high density of faulted dipoles and loops, and perfect dislocations with edge and mostly screw character; they all have Burgers vector in the <1010> direction
