T.E.M. Observations of Dislocations in Al2O3 after Prism Plane Slip at Low Temperature under Hydrost. Glide dissociation in three collinear partials is often observed. This microstructure is very different from that of high temperature prism slip. Some climb related features exist in spite of the low temperature of deformation.

Analytische Soziologie und Rational Choicel in the glide direction as along the dislocation line (P. of the second kind). However, things are complicated by the fact that dislocations are dissociated into two partial dislocations separated by a stacking fault ribbon by the same splitting reaction as in fcc metals.
