,A Demographic Perspective on us Consumers’ Out-of-Town Vacationing and Commercial Lodging Usage Whiers, 59.63 per cent reported using commercial lodging while on vacation. Logistic regression modeling offered insights into demographic patterns characterizing out-of-town vacation usage and vacation commercial lodging usage across demographic groups in the US. The income variable was the most influential independent variable in each model.

In this study, not only a prior themes consistent with literature are confirmed, but also revealed some important themes and concepts, such as parents’ role as resocialization agent, which hasn’t been noted in the literature.
