Circadian Clock and Uptake Transporters,dependent drug pharmacokinetics and therapeutic outcomes. In this chapter, we update current knowledge on uptake transporters that contribute significantly to drug transport and pharmacokinetics. Particularly, regulation of uptake transporters by circadian clock and the underlying mechanisms are covered.

Role of Pharmacokinetics in Chronotherapeutics,-dependent drug effects is highly relevant for chronotherapeutics. In this chapter, we perform a review on the influences of circadian rhythms on drug pharmacokinetics in both humans and experimental animals.
