Understanding Learning Technologies,refore, in order to avoid a tool-centric perspective, Hinkelman proposes a wide definition of technology based on a framework of actions, groupings, spaces, timings, texts, and tools. It intentionally puts ‘tools’ as the last, less dominant dimension of technology.
