Recent Developments in Modeling the Kinetics of Bioleachinging of sulfide minerals, bacterial ferrous iron oxidation and the bacterial oxidation of the sulfur moiety. As models published prior to 1990 have been reviewed elsewhere,. this chapter will concentrate on more recent developments in the elucidation of bioleaching mechanisms and modeling the kinetics.
