Enzymatic Modification and Polymerization of Siloxane-Containing Materials,nge of polyesters and polyamides. We have been focused on using enzymes to mediate chemical transformations of organosilicon compounds, most notably siloxane polymers. This overview describes some of our work using N435 to modify disiloxanes and to polymerize siloxane-containing diols and diesters.
