Book 1995ns, and teachers. Without ambition we would not be able to confront the problems of young people in an effective way. In this decade, we can see an abundance of problems of young people: football hooliganism, school drop out, vandalism, delinquency, lack ofsocial skills, aggression, and depression.

Unused Opportunities for Behaviour Therapy in Education,ompanies, schools, prisons etc its principles hardly exist. Dutch education as a whole is anything but contaminated by the knowledge of behaviour therapy. Its use is minimal. Very rarely it is used to solve an isolated behaviour problem of a pupil (see Engelen and Krab’s summary in this compilation).

Cognitive Behavior Modification of ADHD,ystems. Because of that they are unable to function optimally. In order to perform better the imbalance can be corrected by means of chemical treatment (medication) or by means of effort (behavior modification programs).
