Managing Conflictth each other more honestly. A fundamental attitude of self-respect and respect of others underpins managing conflict assertively. The conflict may not necessarily be resolved; however, people who have managed conflict assertively are able to develop “bigger” relationships in which there is a deeper and greater understanding of each other.

Belbin Team Roleseel confident in the team roles that they bring to team working, and appreciate that other people bring different strengths. The theory of Belbin team roles gives people a language with which to talk about their differences as well as to appreciate their “allowable weaknesses.”
