Functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy System Validation for Simultaneous EEG-FNIRS Measurementsitation to early diagnosis of some neural diseases. In this work a wireline FPGA–based fNIRS system, that use SiPM sensors and dual-wavelength LED sources, has been designed and validated to work with a commercial EEG machine without reciprocal interference.

Main Parasitic Effects in Contactless Wafer Testingalk between adjacent on-chip antennas and the eddy currents generated in the substrate were analyzed. Simulations, varying the thickness and the conductivity of the substrate, have highlighted the strengths of this approach. Moreover, a wafer scribe line pre-cutting, used to drastically reducing the eddy currents, was also adopted.

Electro-Thermal Characterization and Modeling of a 4-Wire Microheater for Lab-on-Chip Systems of a heater has been proposed and discussed. The mathematical model was extensively simulated, and the associated parameters have been chosen in order to minimize the L2 norm of the error with respect to experimental data collected though an experiment campaign.
