Employing Fancy Widgets and Containersters (active carbon). Another line has been process- and product-oriented, substituting VOC-based technologies with water-based paints and powder-paint systems. In the study we have studied both firms with traditional paint application (wet-paint spraying) that have adopted afterburners, and firms that have adopted or upgraded powder-paint plants.

Spatially Enabled Web Applications,eloped and adopted by a variety of companies, differing in size and technology. The ENVIS project chose to focus on small and mediumsized enterprises (SMEs) in four traditional sectors which, in one way or the other, involve the treatment of surfaces: offset printing, electroplating, textile finishing and industrial painting.

Creating a Skeleton Application of dyes in the wastewater takes different routes. One is substituting the traditional reactive dyes with highly reactive dyes that have a fixation ratio of about 90 per cent. Another route is optimising the consumption of dyes by installing computer-controlled equipment. This chapter discusses adoption processes referring to both options.
