Volumetric Representation of Semantically Segmented Human Body Parts Using Superquadrics present a method that segments the human body into body parts to estimate their superquadric parameters. Moreover, we propose a novel initial parameter estimation method by using 3D skeleton joints. The results show that superquadric parameters are estimated, which represent human body parts volumetrically.

Augmented Reality in Physics Education: Motion Understanding Using an Augmented Airtableobjects in real-time to give direct understanding of physics motion laws. We present the implementation of two versions of such an AR system, using an HMD and a projector respectively, and discuss the development challenges and advantages/disadvantages of each one.

Using VR for Fitness Training – Pilot Studyas developed and evaluated. The application contains three exercises and a mindfulness scene, the evaluation focus on how different gamification and interaction techniques can be used to motivate users to exercise more. Initial findings show that the participants find the Fitness VR application fun and motivating.

For the Many, Not the One: Designing Low-Cost Joint VR Experiences for Place-Based Learninglly critical aspects in how individual differences shape the adoption of this technology. Finally, we report insights gained through two qualitative analyses on how to improve the design of future iVFTs for educational purposes.

Investigating the Effect of Embodied Visualization in Remote Collaborative Augmented Realityt no significant differences in the performance and workload. Verbal feedback of our subjects hints that augmentations, like the visualization of the viewing direction, are more important in our scenario than the visualization of the interaction partner.
