Effect of Seed Source on Performance of Faba Bean Varieties which were earlier maturing and clearly outyielded those from small and from unsorted seeds..Present indications are that the yield of a given stock may not always represent the true relative potential of a variety particularly if ungraded stocks vary in seed size or if the seed of some stocks is graded and only the larger seeds sown.

Results of the Joint Faba Bean and PEA Trials of the Years 1980–1982 dry matter between generative and vegetative parts of the plant. Comparing yielding capacity of faba beans and peas, the results show that some locations seem to be more suitable for growing peas than for growing beans.
