Results of Computer Simulation of Subsynchronous Resonance of Synchronous Generators,citor-compensated lines. A second benchmark model for computer simulation of this phenomena has been proposed recently [1]. This one, more realistic in actual operation of a power system, permits to compare different analytic methods and simulations realized on this subject. It provides specifically two system configurations as benchmark models:

Analysis of Effect Damper Circuit Modelling and the Fault Clearing Process has on Amplitude and Dec supply system disturbances is dependent on both the pulsating component of airgap torque following fault incidence and on that following fault clearance, torsional response will differ when the exact and approximate fault clearing processes are employed.
