Part Load Flow Phenomena and Excitation Forces in Centrifugal Pumpsected. The part load flow recirculation leads to a strong interaction between impeller, inlet, diffuser or volute and flow between impeller side plates and casing. This influences also the rotor vibration since preswirl to the labyrinths is affected by this interaction.
