Up to 1982, 126 patients were treated with hyperthermia alone or in combination with either radiotherapy or chemotherapy at the Department of Radiotherapy at the University Hospital in Essen. We used conventional generators (13, 27, 434, and 1540 MHz). The combination of radiation plus heat was most favorable (Gerhard and Scherer 1983).

Blase A. Carabello,Rajasekhar Nekkantiextensive report, with 5 coloured vegetation maps to the scale of 1/500,000, which was awarded the Gay Prize of the French Academy of Science in 1897. This work was published in a posthumous book by Gaussen in 1937. Flahault drew some 20 coloured vegetation maps to various scales (1/80,000, 1/200,000, 1/500,000) between 1897 and 1934.
