Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopic Pyeloplasty,d 100%. The benefits over laparoscopic pyeloplasty are arguable and need to carefully be measured against the increased cost. Perhaps the main advantages are the ease of ureteric spatulation and suturing due to the EndoWrist instruments.

Non-randomised outcomes appear to support lower positive margin rates and better erectile function with robotic surgery. This chapter describes the current uses and recent advances of robotics in pediatric urology.

Robotic Gynecology/Urogynecology,tomy is another important application of robotic surgery. In pelvic reconstruction, robotics has a particular role in sacro-colpopexy and vesico-vaginal fistula repair where non-randomised results are as good as open and laparoscopic surgery. A few cases of robotic colposuspension have been reported.
