Unsteady Forces on Annular Cascade Blades in Subsonic Flow with Swirlcorresponding to rotor/stator interaction with a 45° mixed swirling flow, a remarkable amplification of the upwash component of the gust is noted. The predicted increment of cascade unsteady lift is obtained as a function of the generalized gust evolution distance.

Effect of Acoustic Control on the Flutter Boundaries of Supersonic Cascaderbances generated from the actuator surface cancels the existing unsteady force on the blades due to blade motions themselves. The optimum condition of the actuator surface geometry and motion is investigated and the capability to enlarge the flutter free domain is demonstrated.

Nonlinear Harmonic Analysis of Unsteady Transonic Inviscid and Viscous Flowsing the nonlinear harmonic approach, the inviscid Euler method has been extended to a viscous solver with the Navier-Stokes equations and a calculation of unsteady turbulent flow in a transonic diffuser is presented.

Nonlinear Critical Layer in the Unsteady Boundary Layer Induced on a Flat Plate by Wakesd tunnel of low level of turbulence, Tu≤0.0008. Correlation analysis of velocity fluctuations across the induced boundary layer has revealed a region where a phase shift of external disturbances takes place. Spectral analysis of velocity fluctuations showed also strong attenuation of wakes harmonics
