The Fibonacci Chain Quasicrystal: An Exact Decimation Approachved diffraction pattern closely resembled that obtained from the Penrose lattice (of which the Fibonacci chain is a ID analogue) that such activity was intensified. More recently, MERLIN et al. [4] have succeeded in growing a Fibonacci superlattice, thus providing a direct physical realisation of the the Fibonacci chain.
