Review and Perspective of Biological Tissue Characterization,examined field. Currently there are researches on the scanning of ultrasonic beams and on the programmable foca1ization. The second direction of investigation concerned the optimization of the ultrasonic pulse shape within the time-domain and the extraction and presentation of the echoes.
