Foliage Penetration Stripmap SAR Imaging Using UWB Random Noise Waveformprovides fine range resolution, while stripmap SAR image processing technique is used to obtain high cross-range resolution. In this paper, we present the random noise radar SAR imaging model, signal processing algorithms, and the 2-D imaging results obtained from field tests.

Axial Scattering from Thin Conesbodies of revolution (BOR), including paraboloids and circular cones, seem to have good PO results as compared to exact and asymptotic results. However, the perfectly conducting angular sector is not approximated at all by PO (giving zero axial backscattering) for the case of the incident electric field parallel to the plane of the angular sector.
