Pillared Clays: Preparation, Characterization and Applications,and, hence, the size of the pillars, different pore-sizes are obtained. In this way, it becomes possible to tune the porosity. This porosity combined with the properties of both pillar and host are very important for certain applications, such as selective gas adsorptions, catalytic reactions, etc.
