A Model Including Excitation of Surface Plasmon Polaritonseriments. However, during the last year or so,. a better theoretical picture is emerging which is capable of analyzing experimental data on substrates with well characterized surface profiles. We will present here salient features of such a theoretical model for the surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS).
