Relations Between Wall Pressure Fluctuations and Velocity Fluctuations in Turbulent Flowssure and the velocity fluctuations. In particular it is shown that “high” pressure at the wall can be related to a comparatively large “streaky” structure in the flow. This flow structure is similar to the “burst structure” found by Blackwelder and Kaplan.
