Propagation of Magnetoelastic Disturbances in Viscoelastic Bodies,In the present paper, we formulate the equations of magnetovisco-elasticity and appropriate boundary conditions for a linearly viscoelastic medium with finite conductivity. In particular, we shall consider the boundary conditions for an ideal medium, that is perfectly elastic and perfectly conductive.

Dynamics of an Anelastic String of Variable Length,This paper briefly surveys current methods of solving problems concerning the motion of elastic or anelastic strings of variable length such as cables of mine cages. Particular attention will be given to the propagation of stress waves in these cables when the law of winding is prescribed.

Some Experimental and Theoretical Studies on the Propagation of Longitudinal Plastic Waves in a Strthe static preloading..In the discussion of the results some general properties are demonstrated for the asymptotic values of a plastic wave. Some quantitative differences between calculated and experimental findings are then analyzed.
