Ecosystem Services and Human Well-Being: A Comparison of Two Patagonian Social-Ecological Systems,lationships with ecosystem degradation. Results showed that people living in isolated, less modified systems have higher use of ecosystem services and material well-being. However, they have a lower quality of life. We discuss these issues and propose a conceptual model.
