Conference proceedings 2022 5 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 58 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections as follows: components, APIs and interface management; architecting for data-driven systems; microservices and middleware; architecture modeling, design and decision making; architecture reconstruction and recovery.

Teaching Microservice Architecture Using DevOps—An Experience Reportroservices will interact seamlessly to provide correct system behavior. Our main contribution is to outline the challenges faced when designing such an exercise, our proposals for solving them, the exercise design itself, guidelines for exercise design, as well as present experiences from two courses using this approach.

Debiasing Architectural Decision-Making: A Workshop-Based Training Approachticipants discussed their decisions. In most cases (10 out of 12 groups), the teams’ reasoning improved after the workshop. Thus, we show that debiasing architectural decision-making is an attainable goal and provide a simple debiasing treatment that could easily be used when training software practitioners.

Feature-Based Investigation of?Simulation Structure and?Behaviourthat can be reused. The results show that our approach can find similar features based on their architectural structure and behaviour. Our approach enables developers to identify and then reuse simulation features.
