描述Die vorliegende Studie analysiert Selbstbildungsprozesse ?lterer schwuler M?nner. Dabei stehen Verhandlungen und Aneignungen der Dimensionen Alter(n), Begehren und Geschlecht im Mittelpunkt, die ?unter der Treppe“ im Kontext einer gleichzeitigen diskursiven Unsichtbarkeit ?schwulen“ Alter(n)s stattfinden. Die Untersuchung verbindet einen identit?ts- und kategorienkritischen Theorierahmen mit einem qualitativ-empirischen Fokus auf intersektionale Selbstkonzepte. Ausgangspunkt der Selbstbeschreibungen von schwulen M?nnern zwischen 60 und 90 Jahren sind ihre biographischen Erfahrungen, die h?ufig von starker Diskriminierung gepr?gt sind. Diese haben deutliche Auswirkungen auf gegenw?rtige Versuche einer ?gelingenden“ Selbstbeschreibung als nicht nur schwuler, sondern (nun) auch ?lterer Mann.
