Conclusions,xin test procedure will reduce the number of lots misclassified by the sampling plan. An example of measuring uncertainty and developing a model to predict the performance (OC curves) of sampling plans to detect fumonisin in maize lots (Whitaker et al. 2007) is shown in Appendix A.

Designing Mycotoxin Sampling Plans,am. The chances of making this type of mistake is called the buyer’s risk (false negatives, or type II, β error) since contaminated lots will be processed into feed or food causing possible health problems and/or economic loss to the buyer of the product.
