Idioperipheral Pulsation During Nonpulsatile Circulationo, the amplitude and pattern of idioperipheral pulsation may be useful for the control of the nonpulsatile total artificial heart-living body system. Development of an Intracardiac Axial Flow Pumpump was evaluated on a hydraulic mock circulation to study its performance characteristics using bovine blood. A pump flow of 51/min was obtained at a pressure difference of 13.3 kPa (100 mmHg) at 7000 rpm. The motor speed was reduced by 14% with the numerically controlled machined impeller. Hemolys
