Stereoscopic Vision System for Human Gesture Tracking and Robot Programming by Demonstration,s. Attaching the marker to an operator work tool provides an efficient way to track the human movements without further intrusion in the process. The resulting path is used to generate a program for an industrial manipulator ending the cycle in an human-robot skill transfer framework.

Vision-Based Automation of Laser Cutting of Patterned Fabrics,rence. The results obtained in lace cutting are compliant with existing quality standards and thus support the validity of the proposed approach. The major benefits are the suppression of die cutters thanks to the use of laser technology and the automation of manual low value repetitive tasks.

Machining with Industrial Robots: The COMET Project Approach,tion mechanism on piezo-actuator basis. Due to the modularity of the approach, an individual setup can be compiled for each actual use-case. Final experimental validation of the components is currently ongoing in multiple robot cells, covering several application areas as aerospace, automotive or mould construction.
