SMC in Infinite-Dimensional Systems,This brief chapter introduces a reader in the problem of SMC designing the class of infinite-dimensional systems governed by a linear parabolic PDE containing uncertainties. The distributed unit signal is considered as a robust controller. The Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is suggested for the analysis of the corresponding closed-loop dynamics.
