Arthropods: An Important Bio-Indicator to Decipher the Health of the Water of South Asian Rivers,y, among Crustacea, Cladocerans, Ostracods, Decapoda, and Amphipoda are commonly used as bioindicators. Any altered population and species number in these families is regarded as an indicator of pollution. The current chapter summarises all the approaches used to detect the health of South Asian Rivers using arthropods as bioindicators.
