描述.This book covers interpretation of visual fields by Humphrey and Octopus perimeters and discussion of Humphrey visual fields in a variety of ocular disorders.It examines dilemmas faced by an ophthalmologist while evaluating visual fields which do not match with the clinical picture. Glaucoma, the commonest condition for visual field investigation is discussed in detail. Logical reasoningfor incorporating perimetry in glaucoma management with a clear understanding of the challenges in its interpretation is delved into. The book progresses to advanced glaucoma and glaucoma progression. ,Structure–Function Relation in Octopus Perimetry,nd structure is complex and provides clinically useful information at various stages in the natural history of the disease. The question today is how to integrate the structure and functional information to compliment the data to follow up the patients under care to preserve functional vision.

Effect of Media Opacities on Perimetry: A Vexing Clinical Problem,opacity location, although opacities that are sufficiently deep may also result in concurrent defects on the pattern deviation map. Through some clinical examples, we provide useful insights to help ophthalmologists prevent misdiagnosis and overtreatment of glaucoma.
