A Comparison of Scene Flow Estimation Paradigms prediction, and a future image prediction, both on a novel view. This is the first quantitative evaluation of scene flow estimation on real imagery of dynamic scenes, in absence of ground truth data.

On the Reliability of LSTM-MDL Models for Pedestrian Trajectory Predictionrns are examined. Further, we investigate failure cases and give explanations for observed phenomena, granting insight into the models reliability in tracking applications. Lastly, we give some hints how demonstrated shortcomings may be circumvented.

Pedestrian Tracking in the Compressed Domain Using Thermal Imagesscenarios of suspicious events using a thermal camera. The obtained results show the effectiveness and the low computational requirements of the proposed framework which make it suitable for real-time applications and onboard implementation.

An Image Processing Framework for Automatic Tracking of Wave Fronts and Estimation of Wave Front Velalong the entire wave front. Otherwise, these thermodynamic properties are limited to either theoretical values or to sparse measurements from sensors. The experiment is done by using a shock tube and the film is captured by a high speed camera using the shadowgraph system.

The Algorithm and Software for Timber Batch Measurement by Using Image Analysis in comparison with manual piece-by-piece approach is less than 7.07% with an average error of 4.9%. It meets the requirements of industry standards so the offered technique can be successfully applied in the activity of forest enterprises.

Rapid Urban 3D Modeling for Drone-Based Situational Awareness Assistance in Emergency Situations which is dense but slow, we present a pipeline that produces a dense photo-realistic 3D model of the event site in near real time by fusing oblique images with pre-recorded, publicly available LiDAR datasets.
