Unavailability Optimization of a System Undergoing a Real Ageing Process Under Failure Based PMure–based preventive maintenance, has been designated here as a real ageing process. The imperfect corrective maintenance as well as increasing period between inspections result in undesired rise of unavailability which can be corrected by the properly selected failure based preventive maintenance.
